I am at heart a maker of things. Usually I make paintings but I also use different craft techniques including sewing and printing to construct functional items. Recently, I have been trying to make my practice more overtly eco-friendly. Following a Climate Emergency in Practice day run by Fife Contemporary, I have given this area of my practice more thought.

I have been painting on re-purposed clothing canvasses; making recycled paper and handmade books. I am experimenting in creating eco-friendly functional items from reimagined items of household waste and environment-friendly materials.

Next month I will have the results along with cards and prints of my East Neuk paintings on my stalls at Bowhouse, Cambo and ENOS Winter Showcase.
